jsg has made crappy comments about almost everyone's benchmarking scripts including YABS. I just think he's a narcissist always engaging in virtual pissing contests. I mean really his bench results are a pain in the arse to look at. I use YABS to check consistencies in VPS that I have and it works well enough.

happy Holidays!

well , more $100 credit promotions coming right up!
-
oh yes your right. rutorrent is slow.
-
swizzin is easy install with webpanel and choice of many other services. that would explain using more resources I guess. very light user of private torrent, but have no issues hitting 70MB/s and seeding to 1:1.
-
hostsolutions + swizzin, if they fix their HDD issues. their NVMe only VPS is good.
-
a storage plan in between 250GB and 2TB would be equally enticing as well.
-
I was hoping they could lower it to a comfortable range for them as well. the 5mbps throttle is probably timed like about 30mins or so. but u know not easy to limit usage all the time
-
yes on my yabs thread
-
waiting for HH to upgrade LAX to 40G
-
say would it be possible to either: 1) change to 500mbps unthrottled 2) raise the threshold on bursting (presume to be time or data triggered) , or limit to say 200mbps instead of 5mbps?
-
also Ryzens are limited to 128GB ram. to keep the same profitability Vs performance , it's inevitable that prices have to be higher. I paid EUR 45 for a smashing 4vCPU 3900X with AlphaVPS, but it comes "only" with 3GB ram and 6mths later still performs tip top. they got the ratios right.
-
HH did explain before why they use 2690v1 and v2 mostly. to keep costs low and contention ratio reasonable. looking at some comments on racknerd ryzens having high steal, HH might not be wrong.
-
yeah I think the NVMe is good. looks like a 2680v3

@sonic network tested aren't accurate as I've just been limited to 6mbit/s :'( [root@cybertech ~]# curl -sL yabs.sh | bash -s -- -9 # ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## Yet-Another-Bench-Script ## v2020-12-29 ## https://github.com/masonr/yet-another-bench-script ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ##…
