Sounds awesome actually :-) I'm happy to volunteer to help with that, if there's anything I can do. Wonder if there's something on github for some inspiration..

If not, that's a pretty nice idea.. similar to SB?

Slightly crammy is how I like my free hosting :-) The fact it comes with softaculous impresses me, for a free service, that's a very convenient bonus. It just made sense to install Blesta there, so I can genuinely idle my 2 VPSs :-) Looking forward to your Christmas goodies, I can smell you cooking up a fresh batch of…

Congratulations @FAT32 and @cociu you're a good egg potatoe

@poisson Well, I have an update! I just logged into my client area and noticed that the free hosting I ordered earlier was now ready. * Softaculous is definitely installed! * The Blesta license from the VPS is accepted! The potassium factor of this deal has just gone exothermic.

Welcome aboard @vpsgeek and this is a great first discussion :-)

I wonder if softaculous is available on the free shared hosting, just to make the whole thing as simple as possible, for that extra premium potassium feeling. I feel like for the $4/month I'm spending, with the freebies and little perks here and there, it's unbeatable value IMO :) EDIT: Anyone who paid yearly, and is…

@seriesn I was going to open a ticket to ask this, but thought it may benefit the community also perhaps. These VPS come with Blesta, which is amazing! I noticed that you offer free shared hosting. If I install Blesta on the free shared hosting, could I use the free license that came with the VPS, for the life of the VPS…

I went with NY, a pretty decent all-round location. Not surprised to learn that the potassium has been all sniffed up.

Could I suggest adding some way to account for providers with a lot of offers possibly getting more exposure than a provider with a single offer? Perhaps randomize it first by provider, then by offer?
-
I have been pondering this for a long time too, the problem is implementing it in such a way it doesn't become a popularity contest. Especially if number of likes/votes somehow becomes a metric one might judge a purchase by, to level the playing field for the next generation of providers. Just my stoned ramblings, you may…

More than likely, but I'm the first to admit I would have no clue how to do that. I'll see what I can do.. EDIT: I just found out that you can actually reproduce this on the PC. I'm using Ubuntu 18.04 with Firefox and if I resize the window to force the mobile viewpoint, the problem can be seen.

Default theme, Android device, firefox. Main page scrolling causes threads to not move in unison with each other, creating a strange effect a screenshot won't capture.

Wishosting flies under the radar with his lack of drama/complaints and super impressive ticket etiquette :-)

LunaNode for Canada and France is incredibly premium (hourly cloud) Binarylane for Australia is absolutely rock solid. Obviously hetzner cloud too.

It would generate some great potassium these days if I had kept that machine (originally purchased new in 1993) I am very nostalgic when it comes to 90's era computing. I also ran a popular abandonware site back in the late 90's (back then the abandonware was legitimately old DOS games and apps) Those were the days :)…
