To be honest, there has been a lot of acquisitions the last year or two. According to management this was in line with expectations. Only a lot sooner. Thing is, it is very different depending on location and size of the customer. I work with a Public Swedish/Danish company and I can almost create work for 10-15…

On tuesday, the company I work for informed us (and the world) that they are closing 14 offices in the Nordic countries and NL. So, yeah, it happens in this industry as well.

What does cat /proc/slabinfo give?

@kuroneko23 @Nyr True that both AU nodes are OVZ6. I’ve run into some problems with how Virtualizor decided to change from serial console (like in OVZ6) to VNC on Virtuozzo OVZ7. It has caused me to rethink the whole node deployment for OVZ7. Currently trying to figure out the best way, moving forward. @Nyr if you ever…

I think iptables is a bit out of the scope as not everyone is running it. I will however, make a note on adding a text telling the user to open the firewall on the selected ports.

Someone should write an article on the difference between openvz, kvm and Xen. :pensive:

Thanks :) One of two reasons, either I tested before I added ca-certificates to be installed. Or, it didn’t work without it. can’t remember which, I’ll check it out. I think I’ll keep it for now, still loads of old installations around that uses the old init system. Will take a look. Not that important though, only…

Could you send me your internal IPv4 and I'll have a look

Not really, I answered that you should enter ns1 and ns2. Good thing that you posted the same question here, as you won't be able to read the ticket anymore. Bye!

Good Job!

@WSS My regular fee for consultant/managed work is in the range 800-1500SEK (convert to your favorite currency) I can't see that going well in the Lowend market.....

Yeah, the IPAM is only a small part of the complete package.

@Nyr @WSS To play the devils advocate on the security take. If the user is not an avid linux user, the installation would probably be done by some script or tutorial from 2006 found on the Internet. If one could keep the templates using repos (instead of compiled sources) and enable an auto-update feature. That sounds a…

There is a setting in the config file where you can disable the authentication part for the api (and protect it using IP restriction or whatever) but I can’t make that work. What I’m looking for is to get a json result via thw api and inlude that result into another documentation system.

I like the features. Takes forever to add information the correct way (this is not something unique for this program). But nice overview if you have physical locations. It says it can handle multiple ”customers”, meaning it could be worth the setup for a consultant company. It’s even got instructions on how you replicate…

It’s always fun trying to measure speed/connectivity during a ddos attack. Reading this thread I assume I’m the provider as there are som signs. https://youtu.be/iqu132vTl5Y?T=1M10S Any who, one of my DE Nodes has been under daily DDoS attacks for roughly a week now. Hetzner is doing a great job keeping the node online but…

Don’t remind of that one customer who still have two running in production
