Good catch.
-
How many cores? Do you really need 150TB, or are you just going by what is offered by ReliableSite?
-
Most of us are armed. So yeah... you've been warned. Stay off my lawn. Rabble rabble. lol
-
They drive on the wrong side of the road
-
Regular China Telecom is AS4134. CN2 is AS4809. No regular Tier 1 transit provider is going to include CN2.
-
I think you forgot... they are just British again now. They brexited.
-
WHMCS is next.
-
We stopped monitoring alnitech.com, so when the SSL certificate expired, we didn't notice. It should be back up and re-directing to QuickPacket soon. Thanks for letting me know.
-
Only a few of these left!
-
Yeah, they charge extra fees for foreign transactions as well.
-
PayPal is just as aggressive on fees in the US as they are everywhere else. Default rates are 2.9% plus $0.30, plus they tack on additional fees for all sorts of things.
-
Yeah, I believe you can opt in for Alipay and WeChat Pay on any Stripe account now. WeChat Pay may still be "beta" though. It was when we originally signed up for it.
-
Interesting. Would you please PM me with the route and source IP? I can take a look if there's anything we can do.
-
Yeah, we had some Xen nodes that would go years between reboots. It just worked. We're down to roughly 30 customer Xen VMs left now. I suspect we'll be doing something similar to this before long.
-
Dang, clickbait title. I thought you were telling us she was leaving AMD.
-
Zabbix?
-
Guess I should have probably bought packet.com when I had the chance. Oh well.
-
Yeah, I'm sure they just bought the brand.
-
It appears that COMDEX is now owned by Interop, brought to you by informa, the people who own WHT.
-
Heh, nice try. Haven't decided. May go OVZ7 or KVM. We're still looking at the options to determine the best path forward.
-
DefinitelyNotAnotherColoCrossingDeadpoolHost.com I kid, but yeah, I would go for the Tredaxa name of those choices you listed.
-
VMBox had free IPs from QuadraNet in LA, so it worked for a while. But then QuadraNet started charging for IPs, so after we bought it we had to move everyone over to other IPs. We will be announcing soon that the extra IPs won't be free once your prepaid time runs out.

It appears that DediPath connects to Cogent directly, so it is going to be preferred over INAP transit in some cases due to the shorter AS path. If you do a whois on the last IP from the traceroutes, you can see they connect directly: https://pastebin.com/kn5aVhin

I bet many of the speculated future increases are already planned under the current owners. Or at least, they've included them as "potential margin expansion opportunities" in the presentations they are circulating to potential bidders. Just speculation here, obviously.
-
Unfortunately, this is happening; just a matter of when and how hard they turn the screws. Given what happened with cPanel, I'm not optimistic. It's going to hurt.

QuickPacket can get close: Core i3 530, 8GB RAM, 4TB HD, 20TB Bandwidth on 1Gbps Port - $35 PM me if you're interested.
