i guess @Not_Oles gonna one of these shortly!
-
same plan. telegram already added option to export whatsapp chat to telegram. if signal adds same...i will be happy to ditch whatsapp altogether.
-
i really have no need for it but just signed up anyways...
-
many are concerned about WA new policy aswell but practically many more ppl are not bothered about privacy at all (regular users, not tech savvy) so its a PITA to move away from WA. i clicked on WA accept terms because it is annoying but i am planning to do an experiment of removing whatsapp and using signal and telegram…

anyone here running pi-hole on pi at home successfully?

Good question and if you decided to open your own biz, don't forget to write your experiences aswell. i am not a provider but let me share my thoughts. first of all i guess that amount is good enough to start a good hosting biz. * don't target low end unless you have lot tie-ups with DCs or own your hardware * either start…

recently there is something like upptime which uses github actions, i like the idea more. the dev is innovative guy you can give it a try
-
many sites including their own site claims it is faster than apache and nginx but for me, selling point is lscache plugin.
-
eventhough ping shows US ip, time is almost 1ms all the time.
-
my server is in EU and i am from hyd, so may be thats why it is serving from HYD.

but are you sure, going for pro makes them serve from Indian POPs? (have you seen it or read that anywhere?)
-
today i tried pinging two of my websites and CF ips are from US (atleast from whatismyip.com and many other ip sites) and my vps is in EU, so i feel cloudflare actually making my site slower
-
reseller itself is damn cheap, but for your requirement...you can go with buyshared shared hosting too. but it all comes to space, BW usage
-
it all depends on cost of living. If India, Th gets too many projects and cost of living goes up, then countries needs to look up somewhere else ex: call center jobs are being moved from India to Philippines these days.
-
TH?
-
$48/yr one.
-
i got a service with them but i don't think i gonna use it, so if they allow transfer and someone looking for it, ping me.
-
well, wordpress in first place is shit, too many files from themes and plugins.
-
thanks for the insights @vyas do you recommend quic cdn over CF for my use case? 99% of users are from India and CF has more PoPs than bunnycdn so i am sticking to it for now.
-
Oh, then local notes/excel is the best choice.
-
They are working fine side by side for more than a month. but last night i read an article/review where the guy says, pagespeed improved after disabling CF, so i want to know insights from pros here.
-
yeah, as per CF stats 84.06% cached.
-
notion is the best choice
-
tldr; Open Notion Go to “Settings & Members” in the left panel Click on “Settings” to bring up the Settings page Click on “Export All Workspace Content” Select the export format Exporting will start, when complete, select where to save exported files and click “Save” URL…

I use notion for almost everything! planning projects, writing notes blog post drafts saving logins todo life goals. you can do much more like hosting your blog from notion. notion is one of the products i am really excited using about. if one is not using notion, definitely they should spend their time on it real power of…

thanks for the response @nem

Finally installed it, it took around 25mins and was confusing at first because vps was disconnected and when i reboot, i don't see anything happening but running top/htop shows things are being installed. first impression seems bit confusing because of above part. but i really love the way you made use of laravel, vuepress…

i am not a cpanel guy at all, i mostly work with laravel and laravel, cpanel are not made for each other. currently i am just using openlitespeed with their built in panel, earlier just apache with a shell script to create new virtual hosts. if i miss anything in your apiscp, it will be OLS. got a new vps today and i will…
-
yeah, configurable sub-domain.vercel.app
-
i haven't tried trial but just explored your demo. i am (still) waiting for a reason to buy lifetime license, because the panel and your approach for sure looks different.
