Hi Push-up king :) Thanks for the sharing. Indeed, too technical for me but I really wanna try =) Two questions though - (1) Correct me if I am wrong - it seems to be a trial version for 1 month according to "Contract + Termination" (2) Is it possible to make it accept connection (external / incoming) via IPv4?
-
IPv6 seems to be available? :p
-
:) Very nice latency. Only 27ms. Nice one @SoftShellWeb :'( but the IP registration is showing Singapore...

Same question :p

Thanks for your info. I have never heard of it. Will google :) seems solid!

PowerShell is too advanced for me :'( For 2019, my only concern is the compatibility. Is there any chance that the things I am now doing in 2012 environment might not be able to start after switching? Thanks Dr Push-up ;)

I was watching this one earlier today https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZ2QiiHyTnU But stopped after 20-ish minutes as I was lost.... :'( i am just too dumb

Thank you :) all have been done. And of course a password that is strong enough. Would you have any recommendations on what features are worth to learn on Windows Server OS?
-
=) Now you remind me of another usage of having a Windows RDP - If I am asked to run anything that I am unsure of, I will use that box as the testing ground. By the way, I have not used DO or AWS in the past. Are they good? And do they charge extra for having Windows as the OS? Thanks :)

Thanks for your input. :p Unfortunately I can't power off any VPS as they are either running as a vpn or 24/7 game rooms. Well :# my apologies for the wrong word choice at the beginning - I am indeed trying to learn from various angles in managing a windows server. No matter if I renew it or not, I treat it as a learning…

Thanks for your input. Well.... It was just because I would have nothing to host in a linux environment with so much resource and therefore decided to try how it is like to operate Windows Server and learn from it. (a 1GB Ram , 10GB storage would basically fit what I want if Linux) As for why win2012, guess it was because…

Grabbed one during BF week offer :) First time having a VPS in India (although I am yet to find a VPS in India with a native IP) Despite the CPU score being on the low side, @ReadyDedis did carry out a manual check and confirm the box was assigned with 1 core w/ 100% cpu. I am running two private game servers there as a…

Having an auction on special/festival occasions is definitely beneficial to both the customers and providers. To make sure both parties are happy, a mixture of auction types should be adopted. (1) English auction - I guess that's the most common auction type that needs no explanation here. All current bids are made public…

:) Thanks boss!

Thank you @seriesn :) I have never won in any lucky draw. You made my day boss =)

Totally agreed. I guess we are talking about different business modules here. (First-degree / Second-degree / Third-degree price discrimination) Your above example does exist - and people either do not know or don't mind. What is it? Air fare is one of the examples. Before COVID, I used to fly like hell. If there is an…

When I first learnt about VPS, I did use WHT in looking for hosts. Wasted so much time and money. After knowing "L" and then subsequently here, I don't give a fuck to that crappy site.
