Hi, i've been loving the plattform so far. Small feature request, could we validate haproxy with a simple A record instead of a txt? The use case is you might not own a domain, but want to use a free subdomain like the ones from afraid dot org or duckdns

Also, many free subdomain services block creation of records with "_" like "_tierhive-validation" so that is a no go as well.

I speak fluent sarcasm and broken logic. | I would agree with you, but thæn we’d both be wrong.

I will speak to my colleague, we had this discussion early on, and I also did not want TXT records, but I remember him winning the argument. The reasoning was abuse-related; I just don't remember the details.

If you can't afford a domain, do you really need hosting? Most cases point to 'no'. It's not like it's $35/yr with a 2 year buy-in anymore.
