Frequently Asked Questions
What payment methods do you support?
We do support Credit Cards (processed by Stripe*), BanContact, EPS, giropay, iDeal and Paypal. If none of these payment methods is applicable to you, you might also pay via SEPA wire transfer, but you will need to open a ticket for that.
*We know your credit card information is very sensitive and thus we will never store your credit card details on our servers. Instead, those are handled by the payment processor Stripe and we only store a token and the last four digits for later reference.
How long until my virtual server is ready to use?
Provisioning of new virtual servers is fully automated and takes about 5 minutes. As soon as we receive your payment, the setup process is automatically launched for the operating system you selected in the checkout form. (Provided that our system didn't flag you as potential fraud.)
What kinds of usages are accepted?
We accept almost every form of usage that does not make excessive use of our hardware and network, and is not consider illegal in Austria or the Netherlands. In addition, public VPNs, Tor nodes and anything Torrent related is forbidden. For a more detailed list, see the “Accepted Usage Policy” section of our Terms of Service.
Which operating systems are supported?
We can provide you with the latest CentOS, Debian, Fedora, openSuse and Ubuntu releases pre-installed on your virtual server; or you can upload any ISO and install whatever operating system you would like to use.
What level of support is provided?
These are unmanaged virtual server offers, so you are expected to install and configure the server yourself. We give you root access to the virtual server, but you will have to setup any software according to your requirements.
Can I have a benchmark?
Yes, of course; we are on LES after all.

I can confirm the benchmark results; and I can confirm the quick deployment. Well under 5 minutes after purchasing, it was live:
Thank you sir!
Thanks for confirming the benchmark!
And, I hope the results are to your pleasing.

How long have you been on the market ? So you have experience in hosting ?
The self-service brand Alwyzon was launched just this year. While the company is already older than that, we did not publicly offer virtual servers before. Here is the initial offer with a few more details: https://talk.lowendspirit.com/discussion/1739

Only one kind of processor? And which DC? And own equippment or rented?
In general, there is no guarantee which specific CPU model you get during deployment, but they will always be somewhat comparable ones (performance-wise). At the moment, however, all new orders are placed onto nodes with Xeon E5-2680 v4 CPUs (as the one used in the benchmarks above).

Sorry, I just saw that you added the last question through editing your comment (and I can't edit my comment anymore). Yes, own equipment (and IP addresses), only the space in the data center is rented.

Can confirm the benchmark results, and fast deployment of server.
Surperb prices, didn't like the quarterly payment, but calculating the monthly cost. It's the cheapest i've found.
With amazing network and IO performance. specially I/O..
from ASN "low" number of ip space, since new host. But shall evolve. Will keep an eye, and might switch site to here.
Great performance, overall
May you tell us which processors are in use? We can find a E5-2680 v4 here but I can remember to have also seen a E5-2680 v2.
There aren‘t any v2s in use at all; you must be mistaken on that one. The v2 series wouldn‘t even be compatible with the above mentioned Dell PowerEdge R630 and those old CPU series doesn‘t even support DDR4.
As answered to your previous question, all new orders are assigned to E5-2680 v4s at the moment.

Yes, you're right, I mixed it up. The bench was posted in a thread where you replied as well but that was not related to your services. Sorry
