  • @chocolateshirt I don't know, but those prices seem higher then last year, The BF2021 Flash — NVMe Intel E5 #1 from last year was about 30 dollar, now 35.

Will these will have the same hardware as their Black Friday storage deals? I ask because these definitely have better specs with lower prices than its BF counterpart.

    I'm considering this: https://mobirise.com/extensions/kit/
    Mobirise Website Builder Kit $95

Mobirise is a great tool and fun to build with. I just never could justify the 100$ price tag since I didn't need the extensions and it basically is just themes aside from that iirc. All the Blocks are available in free version and you can just byo.

to be fair I didn't really follow their thread (and am too lazy to search for it) but I am quite sure that question came up as well. If I am not mistaken this are gonna be newer systems and therefore also get newer CPUs etc. - not totally sure though and actually does not matter much for me.

I was about to do the same, then I remembered to myself I still have to fill quite a few TB of space elsewhere... $40 saved
:)luckily that offer has now expired

@FAT32 for what it's worth, FastestVPN LTD with 2 concurrent devices drops to 10.50$ with code "APPS30" atm.

Perhaps on BF/CM directly there will be a better deal but this would already be something for @FAT32 10$ request :)

    With CMSAVE40, its $9 now
I have keepsolid lifetime with 10 device but it does not have hong kong server nor taiwan, fastest does come with hong kong.
Also, it is indeed fastest, faster than my keepsolid at same location (sg)

I don't know much about alternatives to mobirise, I used them for a client site earlier when they were free / just launched. So thinking of buying..

Like I said, Mobirise is a great tool. There just isn't much in the paid version that would make me buy it. The free version is probably all I'd need.

  • I'm sure people saw but we added some storage stock and an AU offer to our BF/CM thread!

  • @Mr_Tom Your FUCKPURPLEDADDY storage deal @ OGF megathread was great! (4TB, 4GB RAM and 4 cores for 100GBP/y) - too bad I was asleep and it's already gone OTL Maybe next year... ;)

  • Looks like the KS lineup has been refreshed, gone are many old CPUs, and on average things have become more expensive (although KS1 and KS2 are still there)

Indeeed, quite a bit more expensive but v2/v3 is not really new (like 2-3 years newer than their previous stuff but still 8 years old).

What is the use case for these servers? And why are ppl gaga over them

As a backup for backups, idk. I see limited use for it these days. The most expensive ones are almost as expensive as the soyoustart servers but sys performs way better. If no additional IPs and somewhat limited DDoS-Protection is sufficient, both is worse than some Hetzner auction servers. Kimsufi has flash sales every now and then, for that price it's quite a deal imo.
