We are writing to advise you of a migration planned for services hosted on Shared-NYC1 to a new server (Shared-NYC2) on 02 April 2020. The new server will utilise the same hardware, network and datacenter as it currently does (although hardware improvements are planned in the future - more on that later).
Why are we migrating?
This new server uses CentOS 8 as opposed to Debian 9 which will enable us to smoothly transition to CloudLinux 8 when that becomes publicly available.
What do I need to do?
As part of this migration your services IPv4/v6 will change and the old IPv4/v6 will stop resolving. Because of this, custom DNS solutions (like CloudFlare) will no longer resolve your domain once the migration is complete until you update your A record to our new IP address.
If you would like to manually update your A record post-migration please use the following IPv4:
However, we highly recommend updating to our nameservers to avoid any disruption to service.
Once the migration has completed for all accounts, we will forward the old hostname.
We can expedite this migration for your service or services upon request.
