Because that would not be little maybe.

I will only do 1 in September and 1 in December but I will only continue to do them as long as they seem worth doing, I will take feedback from the hosts that took part and also judge by the community engagement. They will not overlap or detract from BF/CM and are kept short 48 or 72 hours.

Exactly the same, only difference is UK has IPv6.
-
My own offer updated because I accidentally posted the UK link instead of the USA link, those that ordered already (2) will be honoured though.

lockdown!

Post made public.

Bit like 31 then? I plan on having 48 hours of doing as little as possible, take away food delivered to the door, no cooking and plan to finally watch all the Star Wars, it’s a running joke that I am a big sci-fi nerd and never watched any of them so about 15 years ago I said I would save it for turning 40 as a gift to…

With only 2 people on the node at any given time I seriously doubt the difference would be human noticeable, things have advanced far enough now that we are talking a tiny fraction of a split second to allocate cpu time and if there is always available time then letting the host node handle it is probably fine. BUT for the…

Well lots of wants, sadly only 1 real offer to write so far, I guess I will have to start looking further afield for the writing, seems you can't even give money away in the lowendworld :)
-
Yeah but again, that is just a VPS, I am talking a step further with dedicated disk and links with a maximum of 2 people per physical server.
-
Not really as it’s a publicity category

5th Aug... the big 40

I suspect it would only be possible to measure the real impact over a longer period, many of us are only just moving out of the yearly license model anyway. DA will get better as a result of this and will over time become the new normal in budget hosting. I am not sure if anything much has happened to the plesk pricing or…

Redis.

I would imagine 7 days or 5 days + a monthly, something like that, essentially the way I am thinking is 1 additional data per NVMe and that is probably going to be a 1TB, so at LEAST 7 live backups at any time, but it would be managed so I could do it however you want, it would essentially just be a live disk image clone.…

Unrealistic for that much storage and general use storage, contabo maybe as close as you get.

Having looked again, probably the smallest I could go without compromising it much and it still remaining actually dedicated * E3-1270v6 (4 threads @ 3.80 Ghz) - DEDICATED * 8 GB DDR4 Ram * 100 GB pure NVMe Dedicated * Nested-virt enabled. * 1 Gbit port DEDICATED * /48 IPv6 * /29 IPv4 * 30TB BW * DDOS Protection * Free…
-
@imok so you are not so worried about dedicated iops or dedicated uplinks then you just want a VPS with dedicated cores?
-
Interesting stuff, thanks for the transparency.
-
Again that is just a VPS, I would only be interested in doing this with actually dedicated resources.
-
@AlwaysSkint How is this then: * E3-1270v6 (4 threads @ 3.80 Ghz) - DEDICATED * 16 GB DDR4 Ram * Dedicated Storage = 120GB pure NVMe * Nested-virt enabled. * 1 Gbit port DEDICATED * /48 IPv6 * /29 IPv4 * 30TB BW * DDOS Protection * Free Direct Ddmin * Own IP blocks routed for free * BGP £32.99 /month Optional extras: £5…
