Odin is very tempting. I feel it's very suitable for SW. Interested to see the Blesta development :)

Good design. Nice and compact. My current one thinks it's a good idea to have the page scroll and scroll and scroll but I like the data for each server being on the same line. Good job.

Yeah. The people at Virtualizor are lovely, but I'm sure there are more practical ways for them to go forward.

Thanks for 500!

I mean as a new customer my friend.

@Coffee - This is pretty true. I'll be moving because it's a public shared hosting offering, rather than for my own websites.

I've only really pushed for sales during the holiday event, it's left me extremely busy. Maybe some people here might understand that more than others when they see their ticket response times. To them I apologise, but I'm working on it! If it doesn't naturally happen in the next few weeks I'll push for it once I'm not so…

Oh yeah. If you put the new price and specs on paper I don't see why you'd be unhappy. They do provide a quality service and as you mention added value like JetBackup.. MailChannels and probably a lot more. For me, couple extra dollars and I think a VPS is a better shout price wise but also I'll be able to finally use my…

Ironic, the one day it expires everyone piles on to the website. Yes. Official. Bai bai.

Not a big hit, but enough to warrant moving to a VPS at that point. Only trouble is LiteSpeed. Price increases are fair, but cPanel scape-goating for non-cPanel products is meh. I agree with Lee.

497 customers. Thank you all so much! Very very busy. Working on tickets, working on time. Exhausted.

This. There's never a guarantee for profit so you need to essentially set a budget you'd be okay with burning. My first company came through at around £200 profit after the first year which should have been extremely unlikely considering how amateur hour my spending was. To make that was essentially luck. I would have been…

Thanks it's been a good one! A little less revenue than last year but a lot less costs to cover so we're looking good. I didn't quite have enough time to organise it properly but for current customers (maybe even just the first 500) I'll eventually be releasing some sort of loyalty promo where you're offered a % discount…

Hey now Sherlock...
-
The only person I'll be scamming is myself with these sick discounts!

Sorry, I don't believe in life time deals. I did a 10 year deal for 11/11 in 2019 and maybe I'll do another in the future. Cheers!

Damn, should have hired their marketing team!

I am thankful for you, Tom! Your posts are always interesting and often inspire me to learn more and do more and I am also very grateful to be a part of a community that has friendly faces like you and the many others that make it worth while. Best Wishes :)

Thanks friends! Currently at 486 registered community members. Will we reach 500 this holiday period? Who knows  Also.. whoever 500 is, they're in for a treat  I'll be back with a couple of cheeky domain promotions - and hey, where are the SmallWeb OG's at? Something for you too!
