I think my order failed many times without VPN. Maybe because I am in Spain and billing address is german. Could try ordering via vpn but... Maybe IP from my shared flat here is blacklisted?

Close enough haha :D I have travelled to València, Spain, to study abroad for half a year. Arrived on Sunday and currently getting all the formalities and paperwork done hence not so active atm. Should be better in February :) Thanks for the tag! Will have a look! //Ympker

Windscribe is a solid VPN. Great price if you couldn't get their lifetime deal. Alternative would be KeepSolid Lifetime for another solid VPN out there usually priced at 20-30$ with Discount codes on Stacksocial.

I think up to 1TB a Koofr lifetime is hard to beat. Inter-cloud-copying is really useful and I love Koofr so far :) WebDav and Rsync is also supported iirc.

I hear you, but it has another weigth coming from Yegor/Windscribe as Windscribe is already one of the best VPNs around imho so they definitely haven't had to rely on shills/affiliates I'd assume.

Yeah, what I said was a "joke", I guess (seems like I hit all the checkboxes from the german stereotype of never smiling or cracking a joke) . They all can :D What I am saying is that they talk about awesome feature x and awesome feature y but what really matters in 90% of my cases is to remove bg haha :P
