This is also a pretty good "read": https://wpvulndb.com/
-
That sucks lol. Talk about fun times.
-
Just read your signature about support tickets. Has it really become that bad? :/
-
Cool, thanks mate! Looks really cool :)
-
I have read about XCP-ng as wwll, although it's limited to Xen, right? Looks much more clean/stable though than oVirt :)
-
Ah, sounds too bad :/ Maybe it has grown a bit but idk. Was just wondering if there's some light in between Proxmox, SolusIO and Virtualizor haha Edit: Seems to be used (maybe more frequently) now? Not to say Universities or Airports are generally speaking utilizing the best solutions but it is still something, eh?…
-
Ohh.... my bad. I'm tired lol.
-
Glad to see you are back :) Wb!
-
Yup. Although they switched DE from Hetzner to OVH, I believe. But haven't noticed much of a performance change tbh. A little perhaps. I think it wasn't due to performance or pricing but Hetzner vs OVHs abuse handling iirc. Could be wrong though.
-
@MikePT is also a good pick :) Pick your poison. My favourites are still All-Inkl (solid, great phone support, great overall support reply times back when I used them, great performance, nice amount of free domains included in contracts that can be cancelled month to month...) , Ramnode (for stability, performance, support…
-
Hehe glad to hear that :) Gl!
-
All-Inkl is one of the providers that just work tbh. I can't tell you the limits myself. I never had an issue with them regarding limits. Probably due to them not using cPanel/DA and probably not even CL it's not common for them to mention any. They have a free test account though so you can give them a trial without risk…

Isn't SFTP enabled on most Ubuntu/Debian VPS by default though (in combination with open ssh)? Ofc, securing a vps is another story. But the SFTP part should be easy.
-
The list they gave me can be found a site earlier. It did only include Flix US iirc.
-
Windscribe Pro is premium <3 Glad I could be of help hehe :) I am with Keepsolid VPN Lifetime since 2016, like 39$ back then..soo...yeah. Any year longer, I'll take happily :)
-
Did you follow the link to Stacksocial in OP? https://stacksocial.com/sales/keepsolid-smartdns-lifetime-subscription Did you then , after the purchase on Stacksocial follow the instructions for redeeming your key?
-
Getflix has way more channels supported. For me that means Getflix has CR US, Keepsolid SmartDNS not (yet). The other major players (Flix, Prime, Hulu) are there.
-
Doesn't seem to work unfortunately. I can't enter mydomain.com in manual IP entry. However the android app can update the IP automatically.
-
Is CBC Gem different from CBC (no idea about either lol)? Because CBC is on the list.
-
The Android app has a feature to update automatically :) You could also ask support.
-
Ah, I dont think FastestVPN has Wireguard. Ivacy/Pure VPN don't either.
-
Smart DNS does not have Wireguard. Keepsolid VPN does have Wireguard. https://www.vpnunlimitedapp.com/blog/introducing-wireguard-vpn-protocol/ Wireguard is an option in Windows and Android Client and I can also create a config for manual setup:
-
Yes, it's exactly that one. I never knew they supported Wireguard.
-
Probably. I experience way more smooth/faster playback of Streams on Flix etc using a SmartDNS as compared to VPN. What's more, almost any device on which you could stream (or just set it up on router level for all devices in your home) supports setting your own DNS records. Without loosing speed overall, other people in…
-
Basically, by using a Smart DNS Service Provider's DNS service your traffic gets routed through some kind of Proxy to make otherwhise geo-blocked content available to you. The advantage/difference to unblocking content with a VPN is speed. Due to no encryption taking place it's way more performant for streaming. Maybe…
-
Yeah, it works great on the Android App (havent tried manually changing my Android DNS since I found the app button for enable/disable way more comfy) :) I have a Redmi Note 8 Pro and am really happy. Looks clean and is stable. Nice switch from Android One.
-
Updated chart to include my latest purchase: Keepsolid Smart DNS Lifetime (28$)
-
Thanks for the headsup :) I barely use it for this stuff anyway just felt like in Spain literally nobody spent a second thought about dl/streaming Dragon Ball or whatever.
-
Yeah. Works flawlessly it seems @sanvit :) The Android App Keepsolid Smartdns connects to their DNS showing as a VPN connection on Android. I was able to watch The Office US. Appears to be DNS over VPN. You can also configure the DNS servers from Keepsolid in your android device settings manually though (without using the…
-
Ah... gotcha. Yeah, I can try that :)
-
Fair enough. I believe like in NL it shouldn't be a problem in Spain to dl/stream linux isos (dl not torrent/upload) for personal use. At least my spanish flat mate in Valencia did that like all the time.
-
Keepsolid VPN does have iOS and Android Apps. Keepsolid SmartDNS, too afaik. Haven't tested the apps yet though. Although for SmartDNS you don't really need an app as all your home network devices usually share the same outgoing IP so as long as you have whitelisted that IP in the dashboard they all can use the SmartDNS if…
-
According to support: @beagle in case you are interested :P They are planning to expand this list though.
-
Yes, it's the same like Getflix I believe. When you use their DNS servers the DNS Server checks whether your IP is whitelisted aka whether you paid for the service/have an active sub. You can only assign 1 IP to your account at a time (to avoid sharing). Since usually all devices in your home network share the same…
