I say we don't change the limits, and even if we do, $14 is too much.

You sure sound passionate about this. If you consider open sourcing your code down the road I'd love to look at it. I'm sure it'll be interesting.

Hello @risharde ! I hope you are doing well. I have read all of the answers, positive and negative, and I think I can add some thought, hopefully constructive. First of all, I trust you more than all of the summerhosts ever lived combined. You were a part of the OGF since forever, and I can see you are being totally…

I think Incider is better. Also congrats to both parties! You deserve free time too, Ant. Good call I say.

RA2 was amazing.

Looks like the $3 one sold out fast

I know, that's why I'm with IH since 2017 :)

Duh... Stupid me. 25-30% should make more sense since I'm not only running a kernel and whatnot, I also have Nextcloud+nginx+MariaDB so yeah... Nothing a few tries and top can't solve. Oof.. Those 1.2192 metre canes must really hurt! I'd rather not hammer the disk. Looks like cpulimit alone won't cut it IO-wise, so I…

Another user here, highly recommended. It supports both apache and nginx. I'm using the apache version as I don't get much traffic and apache version is the recommended one so why not. However, if you want to host high traffic sites, you might want nginx, and you might have a different experience.

I need some help not abusing the CPU. My VM has: How I interpret this is: I can use a full core anytime, but if I hog more than %50 cpu constantly then I'm in trouble. So: cpulimit -l 50 ffmpeg <args> Is this enough? Am I using more than my share with this? Less than my share? ToS only states this about CPU usage: So this…

I didn't know they were capable of a positive response.

I also had the same problem with passthrough, and Ant fixed it today. (Thanks!) Anyway, I see some marginal improvement but I wouldn't say it's "flying" per se. Not complaining or anything, just some feedback. Before: After:
-
That's actually a great idea.
-
Still the same.
-
Wait, did you really think Linux ISO's meant TV shows or something?
-
I mean why shouldn't they copy? Wouldn't you? It's a stupid thing to complain about. If they didn't want this to happen they should've used a different licence like GPL or something. Everyone's a Free Software person until Micro&Soft copy your code.

I was waiting for the UK storage but I finally caved and got a KVM500. The best part is it's not a yearly commitment so even if my ISP has garbage routing to Phoenix I won't be mad at myself that bad for not checking before buying  Great offer! Can't wait to set it up.

On a second note, now I realised I can scroll by swiping the read threads. I guess this one fixed itself with a Firefox update or something. Usability is better now. The lagging behind part is still the same though.
-
Not sure how I can describe this, but I have a UI bug on mobile since I joined. The same bug isn't present on the other Vanilla forum. When I scroll down/up the main page, unread threads scroll down normally, while the threads with no unread posts lag back, and jump into place after ~500-1000 ms or after I let go of the…

I was running my own e-mail server, until I met her. She mesmerized me with her top deliverability and sweet young recurring offers. I ditched my mail server so hard. Props to @jarland for standig up to the e-mail mafia, especially at this price point. Prem!

Fifth vote's mine.

I am aware of all that, although that still doesn't explain the ban IMO. Simply having an outside means of in-app purchases is nothing to compare with malware-infested .apk files that plague third party Android ecosystem. Correct me if I'm wrong on this (since I never played fortnite) but it's not like they have…

Do you really believe that? What kind of security impact it might have? If you mean phishing / scams, people can and very well do use plain old Safari to fall for stupid scams all the time. If you mean literal security holes, I can't see how that is different from regular apps having vulnerabilities.

Well he still has 'em listed here: https://clients.inceptionhosting.com/cart.php?gid=13

I second this. Used one of their storage boxes for ~2 years, never had any problems.
-
Looks interesting, although I don't get the Percona choice instead of MariaDB.

Fair point, however... this is a bit too far I think. Surely, having some useful content as separate threads won't hurt anyone (as long as it wasn't something they wish stayed unindexed, although generally speaking such content wouldn't be considered useful in the first place I guess.)
