Potatoes are full of potassium, are you the potato bandit sir?
-
I just noticed that and you're absolutely right, that's a much better mix of resources.
-
I'm going to hijack this thread @cybertech so I can throw in my 2 cents. As you all know, @AK_KWH has invited me to also review this service for him. My first impressions of the provider were not great to be honest, but that didn't really have anything to do with the service itself so I consider this as an opportunity for…

That page looks good! Didn't trigger any of my OCD spelling/grammar attacks :-D
-
Haha, don't get me wrong, I'm not an Apple fan :-P Apart from my son's iPad there's nothing Apple in my house (except my old uniform maybe, or some stickers or something haha)
-
I used to work for AppleCare and the level of customer service skills that they demand is insanely high, they really strive to be the best in that regard, so for me to compare anyone to AppleCare in terms of customer service is quite a compliment. I could see @seriesn thriving in that environment, and I can see that he's…
-
LOL, I was just thinking about this scenario. People know the Xeon will be replaced with Ryzen. Buy Xeon, score Ryzen. Ahhhh, things are starting to become clear now. The liquor potassium brings clarity Randers bud. :) Holy mother of potassium. I'd renew that thing forever and never let it go. That's an "heirloom" right…
-
Another +1 for Nexus Bytes from me too. @seriesn is a really friendly dude and is kinda like the AppleCare of the low end market for customer service. (That's supposed to be a strong compliment) I have a Xeon in NY, does this mean it'll be replaced with a Ryzen? :-D If so, that was an unexpected free upgrade to first class!

Nice! Most of the shared hosting I've seen in AU is based out of OVH in Sydney, but you offer premium Melbourne on trewq's insanely fine tuned network. Anyone taking this would see an instant performance improvement in my experience. The truth is the only shared hosting I have in AU is from @SmallWeb already so I can't…
-
I love these guessing games haha.
-
That's such an awesome gesture, thanks @Delong :-) Buy your potassium from @Delong
-
I think the general readership understand that some services (eg managed, HA, etc) would be more expensive and could still be considered low end enough.
-
IMO where haproxy excels is for proxying anything quickly and easily. Everything else is probably better handled with nginx, or a combination of both.
-
I think @HostDoc would provide the best bang for buck if you need a SGP location, you can find the latest flash sales here https://hostdochost.i.ng/pricing/
-
Haha that's hilarious :-) I'm always stalking and prowling forums, bumpin' threads, droppin' benches, kickin' my 2 cents in, ya know? :-) You actually get an A+ for effort, all jokes aside, I'm very impressed with the service and performance and I'm sure others would definitely agree with me on that. It's probably easier…

I'm extremely happy with my Banditos, the EPYC and the Ryzen are working very smoothly - not even breaking a sweat - dragging the plow along with conviction. If I had to choose which one to keep, I wouldn't be able to decide. I think I will keep both just to avoid having to choose.
-
AMD have made incredibly powerful processors recently it seems.
-
Not to be confused with Abdullah of HostHatch
-
I add "@reboot sleep 1; reboot" to my crontab. Fun game of catch the server.
-
Put a ticket in with flowvps and get the cpu passthrough enabled for extra potassium.
-
He only provides illegal services and fulfils unreasonable requests? :-)
-
Haha yes, put that to work, it will make your fields fertile and prosperous :-) The best part comes when you sign up, pay close to nothing because of the deals, and realize the servers and service are awesome.
-
Nextcloud has a cron that's by default set to run on every page load, which can cause jobs to queue until the next visit. You can change it to a proper linux cronjob every minute etc to keep things running quick. It's a simple yet easy to overlook possibility.
-
I love watching this deal hacking, it's appealing to the nerd in all of us on so many levels :-)
-
That looks like @HostDoc
-
Yeah I agree that Anthony would've been very highly ranked, but I also understand why he excluded himself, and that's honorable and is why Inception Hosting should be included. One way around this would be to transfer any LET "Top Provider" titles over here, since the majority of this community have already voted that way…
-
Congrats for coming in close behind the stallion and above hetzner!! That's an amazing achievement :-)
-
Virmach?
-
That's an interesting point that really made me think about it, and you're right. It's a very exclusive club. Where @seriesn may lack slightly in 3950X, he more than makes up for by being a genuinely friendly guy with some seriously awesome added bonuses and customer appreciation. Plus that LA pre-order is so hard to…

Here it is, the moment we've all been waiting for. I present to you, the Bandit Host 12 thread EPYC monster VPS geekbench result. https://browser.geekbench.com/v4/cpu/15092231 Single-Core Score: 2804 Multi-Core Score: 20914 @poisson Check that shit out, I decided to try running Geekbench manually and it worked (took a…

I surely did, am I'm extremely grateful for that because this is the best VPS I have (and had) in Australia - hands down. I will keep this forever and pass it to my grandchildren lol

It's the Bandit Host Ryzen VPS, and it's freaking insanely powerful. It would outperform at least 95% of similarly priced servers. It genuinely feels dedicated, but it's shared and that kinda feels like driving a Ferrari at the speed limit all the time, except on those roads where you let it rip and pray you don't cause…
-
Pro tip: Stack a free hosting package with your purchase for extra value, particularly if you plan to use your free Blesta and want to use your VPS for other things :-)
-
LOL at the KFC famous recipe tag :-) Nice offers there!
-
It saddens me that every time I attempt to geekbench the 12 EPYC threads it fails. @Delong is this the node trying to stop me doing something really bad? Lol The Ryzen is super premium: --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Region: Global https://bench.monster v.1.4.9 2019-12-24 Usage…

Who would've guessed that stacking coupons could be so much fun?! :-D
-
Absolutely agreed, Michael is definitely an OG of awesome deals. The price is great and the CPU policy is relaxing to me (cannot accidentally get killed for "cpu abuse") and anything you need Michael hooks it up (particularly if you ask politely and respectfully of course) :-)
