Might be interesting but would want to see an insurance option. Ie pay 2$more and if plan disappears in 2y or whatever get a guaranteed payout.

Given you don't want to become a host I'd probably reccomend not selling this as a vps and just selling straight storage. Easier to manage and you won't have to eventually deal with the headache of who did what download of kiddie porn or other questionable activities. Especially if there is shared risk involved where the…

Might make sense to be ipv6 only/nat ipv4 as its only meant to be backup storage. Cutting that cost would allow more users.
-
Definitely interested in about 6tb ish raid 6 (or raid z1/2 preferably) . Lmk final pricing if you proceed.
-
Honestly feels to expensive for no iv4. Would need to be like 2eu/tb/month max. Maybe go for a raid z1 array to cut costs a bit?
-
Is say pricing should be based on offerings. Don't think anyone really buys based on minimum price but moreso recources/$. Maybe have like storage offer have to beat x$/tb kinda thing
-
i like storage stuff but tbh in this case i feel like maybe i missing where the value is? I guess kinda the main concern here is why would I pay 10x the rate of something like a hetzner storage box (3.45eu 1tb) for the same sftp access with known raid setup? Apologies if i missed something obvious in your initial post.

Not interested in beta testing anything but filled out forum regardless. Would certainly be interesting to see a high storage ipv6 only offering ie multiple terabytes instead of <20gb ish most ipv6 only plans seem to be

I personally use letbox for my storage /media server. Definitely cheaper than a dedi and some drive failure tolerance.

Why not go the way of naming stuff that most big companies seem todo. Name it something completely random buy vaugly similar for shits and explain it no where on your website. Ie micro alloy flex virt enterprise

its amazing how much people bitch about watching adds on youtube or paying for premium subscription when the alternatives are so expensive xD. tbh if there is one platform that deserves a monopoly on anything its youtube for the insane amount of free value its provided creators(assuming no major changes)

Yeah i already switched. Torguard stopped working on their socks5 proxy weeks back on all servers I tested. Started blocking trackers so I had to switch to pia. Kinda pissed me off since I had many months of service left

Honestly speaking it really does feel like a good time to invest in Russian hosting. Don't personally buy into the sanctions for punishing buisness when the majority had little to no say in the matter.
-
Honestly probably the smart decision if you really need high uptime. You get what you pay for essentially.
-
Definitely interesting concept. Would be mostly good for compute intensive stuff but I kinda feel like you would need to give advanced notice of like a week+ before going up for sale.
-
Yeah given latest outages I'm not sure how much issues are with promax vs just their experience with promax given new owners now that Key isn't running the show.
-
Intel 3rd gen i7's still fine assuming you don't mind the exploits older hardware has.
-
personally i feel like the pi is a great tinker board but from a colocation perspective there are more powerful sbc options from a straight compute standpoint that I feel would make more sense.
-
Haven't used a nat vps before but would be happy to play around with one for a bit
-
Wonder if any providers would be willing to colocate a car xD

I'm 90% sure this ain't a blackhat forum and that your not allowed the discuss this here....

You signed up with PayPal. End of story that's it, no external anything.

guess i wasted my dollar. shouldve known better lifetime offers are just bait tools used by scumbags

First provider for me was chicago vps. Stayed with them for years until the default ubuntu template wouldnt even work anymore. Sadly they dont appear to be bankrupt currently :/
