Debian please.

Can someone post a lsblk on hosthatch and servarica? Looking for storage servers but I want to see fio results on "storage disk", not "system ssd disk".
-
Beware, the disk fio bench is done under the current working directory. If your system has mixed NVME/SATA SSD/HDD, make sure to do more disk benches under the corresponding directories.

Fun fact, certificates from {lv,ny,lu} just expired, today. @Francisco

Contabo does not have any looking glass or speed test sites, not even IPs, neither IPv4 nor IPv6. Would someone post some test IPs (v4 and v6) in these areas? And I think you can find their nameservers from resolv.conf and gateways from mtr. BTW, they do have routed IPv6 /64 subnet. @yoursunny

benchmark tests aren't and shouldn't be the all-in-one source for determining if a provider and a VM are right for you. Exactly, benchmarks should not be the only thing buyers should be looking at. There are many other important factors, but we need more benches, not less, to bench the consistency.

Maybe those HDDs were sold to chia miners, better than mining himself.

Does Storj still delete your files after 90 days no matter what? I read this Reddit. https://www.reddit.com/r/storj/comments/7mnm5r/how_would_the_average_customer_of_storj_know/

How about a channel on OFTC? Official web interface https://webchat.oftc.net/

Are their flash deal storage servers OVZ or KVM?
-
Well, flash sale, not interested.
-
Bought nothing yet this BF/CM. Not really a fan of flash sales, never hyped. I'd enjoy more if I could just sign up for a deal, chill and let the provider or moderators randomly choose the winners. Or just buy something cheaper than usual, with plenty stock and reasonably priced. The only deal I'm waiting for, IPv6 (or…

Kinda super late, here's what I want. HDD storage with IPv6 only or IPv4 NAT, has to be KVM/Xen. Low spec server with huge amount of traffic, not on Hetzner or OVH or Scaleway. Both mentioned in my old posts.

I think I once read about that in a thread but I can't find it anymore.

Don't have critical task, typically running a game server with little CPU spikes, and compiling software like LineageOS and some APKs. Thanks, will check Avoro. So they also enable HT, right? Now, Netcup/PHP-Friends/Avoro/Hetzner, which of them do not require my ID card and proof of address? I'm fine with a photo of my…

Very German.

~26TB in + ~25TB out is what vnstat -m typically gives, on a dedicated 100m server.
-
I think inbound is always free and truly unmetered? I'm really tired of seeking hidden rules when looking for servers. I understand due to human costs, some providers have little to none knowledgebases, even poorly written FAQs. Maybe we start a dedicated thread for these hidden rules and gotchas?

I donate to FSF EFF Tor regularly, still wanna dedicate some money to Tor relays.
-
Good luck getting FOSS firmwares and drives :( For my hobbies, definitely turning to RISC-V.
-
I always get scared when I see "Unmetered Bandwidth" for a low price. Though I admit BuyVM is rock solid, I'd rather prefer "unthrottled X TB traffic @Y mbit, then capped @Z mbit" style. Since I'm running network intensive services, I don't want to cause troubles for others, even I manually limit Tor burst speed to ?MB/s…

$3.75 2 TB CN2 GIA? Even in Singapore? Is it recurring? Saw this on that page
