Both these threads should be combined into a wiki page. Easier to maintain. @AnthonySmith : will there be a wiki section on LES? Perhaps name it LESW(hat)?

Guess I spoke to soon. Got this note on my invoice.

I’m a small provider, I don’t have time, nor the interest in poking around your files. Unless the police comes knocking at my door. The only time a provider should look at a users files are with the consent of the user, most often to help out on a problem.

I would say it depends on the contract. If it was fully managed, meaning you don’t have root, and they have done the installation. Then it’s there issue to fix. If you have root, then you must check the contract to see what parts they manage. Most cases goes by, If you have installed it, you take care of it. Unless some…

I'm on the Flex plan and I got this email on May 21st - (found the mail now)

If I remember correct, Mailgun changed it back to FREE. If you manage to keep the invoice to less than $0.80. That is ~1000 emails if I remember the email correct.

Would that be a valid, legal reason for not abiding the terms of service?? Guess it fits right besides ”the dog ate my homework” kind of excuses. ???

First of all, thanks for valuable input. Since there are suggestions all over the place ;) I might need to clarify my ”needs”. I don’t want to/can’t install anything on my clients computers (keeping things seperated). I’m looking for ideas to connect to an IDE to do the coding in. Source is stored local/ssh and push/pulled…

Loaded https://lowendspirit.com now and the new post (migrate kvm) wasn't there until I made a hard refresh. Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.

Added 2 more, which was removed due to orders marked as fraud.

I have never used an i-83 product, I might be out on the deep end.... I have a hard time to think that i-83 would have OVZ7 last year. And the kernel is newer on OVZ7 then OVZ6.

I’ll document my setup and who knows, it might end up as a post on LESB. ?

Kudos for posting this!! Not everyday I see someone posting the solution to their problem when they find it themself. Thank you!

I do have Visual Studio Code on my desktop at home, and that is my preferred IDE. Code-server looks like a self-hosted codeanywhere. Will take that for a spin. If all else fails, I’ll spin up a Win Server OS somewhere and run RDP to that machine from everywhere.

Does that require local installation? One of the things I'm looking for, is something that I don't have to install anything on my clients' computers.

The bundle link will expire tomorrow (less han 24 hours)

The migration was done the other day, so it is using the new upstream. The migration was done by RansomIT, I haven't changed provider so all ASN info and IPs are still the same. They have, by changing DC, began using other carriers. Feel free to open a ticket and I'll pass it on. They have listened before and made changes.

nice addition!

my bad, that was a Black Friday link that I activated. Couldn't really stand by that BF price. It is still 35% discount. A decent bundle price. Sorry, no upgrades, Payment gateways eats all the difference.

We could try. From my experience with the old DC and carrier, it could get better but then it chmages again. Leta hope it stays this way.

I've added 10 fresh spots after doing some spring cleaning. https://clients.mrvm.net/cart.php?a=add&pid=71 Grab em while they last

Moved to Racks Central. New upstream, which is said to be better for the local region. There are some kinks I’m sorting out after the move. After that I’ll open up a couple of 256mb slots. Will post update here when done. Would also take the opportunity to recommend Oliver and @ransomit if you have plans for something…

There is always the REQUEST section of this forum :)

Is that a private fork of SOLUSVM?? :3
