mine (also buffalo) reappeared with completely new hardware, location and IP after a long break. check your services in the billing panel, its not reachable unter the old cpanel domain.
-
Haven't heard of the cited Mailchimp incident. That would be huge.
-
I would say its not an issue. Eg SpamAssassin would have a rule to detect this (FromNotReplyTo), but i have never seen it in use, probably because it would do much more harm than help.
-
Yes, moved 2 bf deals, both without problems. 4x more power for the same crazy price. Can't complain.....
-
I happen to have a Cpanel Account with something called WordPress toolkit. Not the same I guess?
-
+1 for netim. Can't say anything about their support because I never needed it...

Because Google is under US jurisdiction, no matter where the servers are. If a US court tells them to do something that would be prohibited under EU laws, they would follow US laws and not EU laws. A Europen provider would not be in reach for US laws or US government agencies.

I use them a lot, in my experience you cant find anything better for the price. The license is quite common, all they want to prevent is, that you re-sell the photos (etc) instead of using them for your own work. Thats ok for me and doesnt limit any of my use cases - typically illustrating articles, presentations,…

i tried that too but it is waaaayy slower when i do transfers of many files. like extremy slow. so i migrated back.

Good to hear, could be interesting for a future project.

seems you were onto something: https://twitter.com/googlecloud/status/1338493015145504770

fun fact: i also received this mail from google, but it went to gmails spam folder... =)

my BF offer from last year works great, i renewed it a couple of days ago.
-
they seem to be buying a lof of small hosters that i have never heard of. https://news.cision.com/miss-group-holdings-ltd a new hosting conglomerate in the making.
-
just used it for >10 Domains
-
also there's only one 2.10$-instance allowed per user - so i'm already losing MILLIONS!
-
yes, my favourite quote from this email is this: "we did honour our lifetime deals for seven years"
-
thanks, just what i need since my zoolz lifetime deal just wents titsup. neverlearn

An excellent move by Nvidia. Now Intel - after many years as a defacto monopolist - has two real competitors.
-
FYI: This host has completely disappeared just days after this offer....
-
really useful, immediately found some services that i am actually going to use. eg editorial calender.
-
looks interesting, did you try it yourself?
-
Congrats, exciting (and sleepless) times ahead. =)

i wanted to use it to try different admin-panels, but ipv6-only turned out to be a big annoyance since many donwloadsites still rely on ipv4 then i wanted to use it as an external DB server for my other VPSes, but since they are all lowend they also rely on IPv4 and cant reach it

I used to have a free hosting account with Godaddy for some years. I guess it came with a domain promotion, one day it was suddenly in my account. The performance was ok, but I repeatedly found strange files like kdjswdkldfv.php in my webroot directory (with some malware in them), which never happened to me at other hosts.…

I bought the 2GB Deal when it was first offered, and it performs well, so I have now upgraded it to some more GBs. Lets see how long a lifetime is in Portugal, so far none of my 3 Lowend-Lifetime-Deals has flatlined.
