Oh my, I need one of these. At least.

exactly, only for private use. I think this actually a good idea. Will play around with this a bit. @willie I'm talking about ~> 10 TB and growing steadily, but slowly. Yes, on-the-fly conversion would be optimal, sure. Having the full flexibility of any compression formats for our precious boot media.

First of all thanks for your comments. I'm enjoying to read them ;) While I'm not particularly concerned about encryption - there will be a strong anti-Fedora policy enforced - it could be a viable option for cloud storage. I mean, who knows, maybe someday will Google scan all of our isos and decides to ban all Debian…

I'm really afraid of the walled garden scenario too. This will happen, for sure :/

Awesome service, enjoying it over a year now!

I'm also using borg to push backups over from everywhere. It has plenty of useful features. There is also https://restic.net/ but haven't tested it yet.

But Luxembourg is always out of stock D: Anyway, happy birthday!

I would also recommend this. You can store your passwords, ssh keys (build-in agent) and totp secrets. On android you can access it through Keepass2Android. The only thing which I'm missing is a build-in ssh-agent for android.

So if one would have an object storage buffer of e.g. 100 GB to move backups in, one would pay 1€/month for the object storage and then move it for free to C14 paying 0.002 / GB / month in total. To retrieve such a backup one has to pay additionally 0.01 / GB for transfer, right?

So many good recommendations, thank you very much guys  Since the offer is unbeatable, I have to try CrownCloud first.
