I think CPU works as expected; it's a 2660v2 after all. (Don't know if 2660 is better than 2650 though)
I wouldn't have expected Gold/Ryzen for this price either.
It's a good LES exclusive deal considering price, big ram/ssd and dedicated CPU resources.
