Rasberry PI Blades

Pretty neat concept. I think personally dedicated Rasberry pi servers with nvme with tpm have a decent chance of success at a vps price point vs say a 1 or 2 core VPS.
Of course lack of raid is an issue.

I would buy it lol

I definitely do too

the price point will be higher than a VPS due to the active cooling requirements and NVMe's being expensive

Fair, although that's a fixed price point and at 500mb/s speed cap the server grade nvme will likely last a long time. The power consumption will be lower though. Would it make sense if they were able to for 32x of them in there via a full 1u vs the half height 16?
What is a realistic prices point cause i think these are great.
I guess we won't know until the price is released for the equipment on Kickstarter for all we know he could want to charge £200 per blade and with the compute module and NVMe on top.
also depending on the mounting equipment, cooling requirements and rack configurations it could at this stage be anywhere from 8 - 32 per U so it is up in the air.
If it is not outrageous, and more importantly the compute modules become more generally available (they have been like hens teeth for 12+ months now for bulk orders ) I will certainly be doing an 8 blade small setup for home
