    btw, why now ? when prices are getting higher!!!. can't u wait or are you just starting your million laundering mega plan.

  • Make sure you have enough money to cover operating costs for the first year or so. Will take awhile until you become profitable (assuming you do).

    one advise.
    if you are in your 20's then have them now.
    then you will have plenty of time in your late 40's.
    remember what i said to you.

    maybe if you have this much money, invest in something else for example buy real-estate "small shop". Rent out a car etc ... when you do proxmox all what you learn more about is payment gateways, disputes.

    wish all the best man.

    Dude, if you need to spice things up travel a bit and have some freaky-deaky sex. Don’t start a hosting company for kicks, you’re just throwing you hard-earned down the bog.

    Charge separately for the video versions without you in them (pun intended). :)

    On a more serious note, if you haven't done it already:
    Business plan.
    Branding & marketing.
    Knowledge-base - excellent for SEO (and SEM), while also helping with tech. support load. Multilingual (English, German, and Serbocroatian)? Perfect!

    These could (should?) all be set in place well before you start.

    Provision extra US $200 for LET provider tag.
    And similar amt for LES ads ;-)

  • NeoonNeoon OGContent WriterSenpai

    I don't know, if you really want to advertise on LET anymore.
    Especially if you got 10k, you end up in bankruptcy.

    My advice would be to try to earn without spending anything first ( i,e reselling ) as a freelancer, do good work, and use that money to setup a company and formalize everything. Start looking for potential clients and then gain their business. Don't look for a low-end market, I would rather have 2~5 high-paying clients rather than a lot of low-paying ones who eventually idle and run away.

    Wait... Aren't you already?!
    Then who am I following there?!?

    Edit:
    Just a marketing idea - send a "tegla of domaći ajvar" to every customer, every year! :)
    If that doesn't keep them, nothing will! :)
    A bottle of rakija is also a good idea (one does not exclude the other).

    Forget about 2 (you won't get 50-100 clients in a sec)

    @Amadex said: IPv4 space
    NO IPV6!

    v4 just rent for about 120-150 eur p/m for a /24

    v6 might become a problem, as who you are after is usually firms/bigger customers (who strongly prefer v6 over price they pay), as the smaller ones won't give ya that much money

    @Amadex said: Proxmox?

    Probably your best bet rn.

    @Amadex said: Website
    Whmcs

    Either DIY it, or pay a company a few k to edit a template (I've edited my template, and copy writing is a pain in the ass)

    As for WHMCs, in most hosting templates, also have a template for WHMCS.

    @Amadex said: Payment gateway (Stripe, PayPal)

    DON'T FORGET TO CALCULATE FEES, AND ADD THEM TO YOUR PRICES.

    @Amadex said: Site langs: English, German, Croatian

    If you know those languages, then translate them yourself, as it will cost u a Lil big sum for translations.

    @Amadex said: Plesk for shared hosting

    Good.
