  • This is now a thread instead of a "wiki page". Should make it more manageable to keep updated and for others to let us know when things need to be added/updated.

Some edits based on @jtk's recommendations incoming.

  • Perhaps pin this thread? :)

"A single swap file or partition may be up to 128 MB in size. [...] [I]f you need 256 MB of swap, you can create two 128-MB swap partitions." (M. Welsh & L. Kaufman, Running Linux, 2e, 1996, p. 49)

There's a link for it in the sidebar for now (bottom of page on mobile). Would consider adding it to the nav bar, but it's getting cluttered already. Will probably add links to it from the rules and about pages.

Self added myself for the other brand I shill around these parts. Any objections?

I have also added recent provider tags from August - October 2022. Still need to go through May, June and July.

I'm sorry but we're going to have to let you go. We've appreciated your hard work and dedication but we simply cannot let this transgression pass..........

  • We are a hosting provider too and have this tag, but for some reason we aren't mentioned here.

Just not quite caught up adding the provider tags issued for May, June, and July to the list. If I am correct you are in May.

You have now been added! I've also added the other providers who got the tag since May. Hopefully no one missing, but let me know if so.

Do you guys think he even applied for provider tag or was reading too hard?
Especially if you are from UK and reading in your native language.

I removed the tag because I chose to. I work with clients across multiple channels, so taking down one listing doesn’t mean I’ve stopped offering services elsewhere. Everything I do is self‑funded and debt‑free; I have the resources to run my businesses long term. The Yeti is 49 and retired, that’s background, not a liability. No need to speculate further; I’ll post updates where appropriate.

You don't look a day over 48

  • At quick glance, these might be candidates for being purged?

    • cloudie (out-of-business, listed in multiple sections)

Is a formal process for removing a host besides the obvious out-of-business evidence? charityhost might be a provider to end relations with? I can think of one other that should be considered, but some of you won't like it.
