I'd personally like a step before it. If there was a MailChimp security incident, I'd like to see an actual disclosure. I get that such can't always happen right away but typically when it can't happen, because companies are working with law enforcement, they keep their mouths shut about it entirely. Just saying there was…

There is something to be said for generating revenue with minimal tech debt.

It's a pretty big savings actually. The number of IPs needed to run their mailings, and the amount of effort you should put into the infrastructure and IP reputation, it would be more expensive to do it in house at their size. When I left there was still only one person who cared about the root domain's SPF record, mail…

Actually just a 30-40 minute trip up 59 and over on 80 (or 20 if you’re feeling lucky) from where that was shot, Carthage sucks though so it's been a while since I did anything other than drove past it 😂 All about them pine trees boys.

All I wanted was for the trash to stop piling up at my door. Go on Facebook and make a comment on a politician's post. Go on Reddit and comment on a politics sub. Then wait a few minutes and try to do anything other than see your notifications fill up with rage and hate. Doesn't matter who you are, what you said, or why…

Would entertain the thought but only on the condition of adoption of this: https://hostedtalk.net/t/hostedtalk-is-a-political-sanctuary/5988 Even when it's unpopular and pisses people off.

Cheers to that. Nicely positioned, hope it nets you some well deserved rest.

To be honest I'm not opposed to even paying for RHEL, for profitable production servers. What I am reluctant to do is put my faith and money behind a company that violated the sacred bond of LTS on a distro that they were well aware runs the world. I'm also not on board with adopting a fork made by anyone with ownership…

Spend it all on software development and then use spare change to fund the servers to run it on.

I have this strong feeling that I've given a different answer for it every time it was brought up too. This made me wonder if I could remember what the actual events were that started it. The toxic environment and the constant hatred were things I was glad to get away from and probably stated as reasons at some point. But…
