What OS do you want on it?
-
Renewal on VPS60? Also curious how you'd do payment.
-
C'mon now. If you're going to be like that you have to at least use, "Bite my shiny metal ass".
-
I've done it several times ( including on this one I just got ) and it's always been fine. It does a pretty good job of telling you what it's not going to handle well so you can prepare.
-
For what it's worth, I'm dumb too. I reported two different Dedicated Server Down and in each ticket I talked about how I can be last in the queue because I have redundancy, etc... They got merged into a single ticket, one server deployed immediately, and ticket closed ( heh heh ) . Ten points to @skorous for intentions, 0…
-
And you're thinking that won't happen? I personally would imagine that people ticketing got seen as higher priority and thus handled first with everybody else falling into a second/third tier.
-
So the regular https://billing.virmach.com/clientarea.php works but just going to that specific server doesn't?
-
It's worth taking a quick read on the last few pages of this thread. Start on page 54. You'll have a better understanding of what happened and why the short answer is "it's not likely".
-
I used sendmail for years but converted to Postfix prob'ly twenty years ago. I kinda like a config file that makes some semblance of sense. :D Totally understand the "If it ain't broke..." though.
-
( chuckle ) I started reading this and said, "Whoa .... old school."
-
Interesting. I've just set it up fairly recently and only have two or three systems relaying through it but haven't had a problem. Guess I have something to look forward to. :)
-
Is it better to create a ticket if I'm not in a hurry because you can allocate that server to someone else or is it worse because you're already overwhelmed with tickets? I originally just did nothing figuring that was best but it sounds like I should put one in. Is this the final state version of Ryzen dedi- upgrades? I…
-
You mean like overnight cron's, etc... ? Considered setting up one server to relay through MXroute or something and pointing everybody at that?
-
Wait it was dropped? I thought he started adding it partway through ... crap, maybe I'm remembering it wrong. I felt pretty good that I had that one right.
-
Yeah, if you got back through the thread you'll see it designates the node being 10G capable. No X doesn't necessarily mean lack of 10G because he started adding it to hostnames part-way through.
-
I love your positive attitude.... "were"
-
FWIW, as soon as my dedi came back online for a few minutes I made a quick backup of the > @soulchief said: Can he get to reconfigure if the panel times out?

I have two in Chicago that are offline. Short to medium term I know I can do without one and I'm going to try for both. It's not much but at least you know that's one more person who isn't going to lose their shit. We'll figure it out. 100% for laughter value, I literally renewed Monday. :) I'm fine with store credits for…

Thanks @Virmach for my Chicago migration! Went perfectly. Just asking so I can plan, is there an approximation ( assuming it will happen at all ) on when Chicago will be open to migrations?
-
I actually migrated out of a broken Chicago node. I have two machines as a result just one is unavailable.
-
> Only reason I asked is because he requested we let him know if we want our info deleted. As you say, his track record is quite good soI'm 95% sure I won't but can't be certain until I know.

Did we find out who the new ownership was yet?

Weird. My VPS is Dallas is on DALZ007 ... working fine.
-
I am now. I wasn't then.
-
Default for template users perhaps. I can say that my experience has been the same. Until I made ::1 the primary it would work for about ten seconds and then stop.
-
Question: are you using .1 as at least one of your addresses on the interface?
-
Honestly, i understand why they created the new terms but we'd all be using kilo-, mega-, etc... for so long that only half the people converted. As a result it's still confusing when you see TB how the other side is using it. They should've made the stupid drive manufacturers use a new term since they were the ones…
-
It would effectively invalidate most filesystems wouldn't it? They know how big they used to be.
-
Was that true for panel migrations like this? I know new machines but not migrations.
-
If you read the network documentation they link to it talks how on the new interface you can use whatever ip addressing range you want ( since it's a private vlan ). My guess is it removes the old interface and adds a new one which you can configure. I'm sure HH will correct me if I'm wrong.
-
C7 should have NetworkManager installed by default. Try running nmtui and using that to change your interfaces. Once you're done, exit out and do: nmcli device reapply [interface_name_here] .

No, my old NVMe from like 2019. Think they were their 8th birthday celebration ones. [donatello ~]# cat /proc/cpuinfo processor : 0 vendor_id : AuthenticAMD cpu family : 23 model : 49 model name : AMD EPYC 7502 32-Core Processor stepping : 0 microcode : 0x830104d cpu MHz : 2495.310

Several of my Legacy instances are AMD.

I'm sure this got dropped in all the billion other things going on but since you're talking about template syncs I figured I'd bring it back up. BF-SPECIAL-2020 only shows the stock four ( C7, C8, Deb8, Deb9 ) for mountable ISOs. Absolutely not a show-stopper or anything just wanted to make sure it was on a list somewhere.
