Was going to mention BotoX but couldn't find an example. Jus thappened to notice @emperor appears to be using it. https://status.lukanoski.com/

All of the above. I have a Nebula between all my servers as well as my desktop and laptop so we can communicate with each other using keys. I have two hosts with password login + TOTP which act as jumphosts for when I'm not at my laptop/desktop ( or, uh, if I don't notice a key expiring in the nebula ).

They've posted over on HostBalls HostedTalk. They may not venture here but they've been spotted outside the nest.

As far as I can tell the main argument in this appears to be that it's not sufficiently clear how to do that and that the app doesn't do enough to protect you from doing it poorly.
-
Perhaps I'm misunderstanding your argument. I don't recall then claiming to be a no logs anonymizing provider. They're a secure email provider and I didn't think the email itself was ever compromised. Like they said at the time, if they had been using ProtonVPN they would have been fine.> @Aidan said: Thank you.

Damnit, that's what I get for reading on phone. Why does the gull durn print have to be so small .. ( I hate getting old ) Sorry about that.
-
Depending on how you mean that, @MikeA is on here fairly frequently.

MrVM doesn't have anything with 2T of transfer, does it?
-
How d'you mean?
-
It's had three or four major outages over the last two weeks. It's weird since it's been solid for me before this ...
-
Interesting. I appreciate the response.

What made you choose Rocky?
-
You specify providers and all my stuff is personal but I went with a mix of Stream and Alma. Things I knew will get torn down and rebuilt every so often went on Stream. Things that I hope to have around a long time ( couple file servers, my dns master, my plex box, etc... ) went on Alma. It was a toss up between Rocky and…

Oops, got distracted and forgot to refresh my screen. Abdullah already clarified. :)

I think he's saying he enabled it. He likely just needs to Shutdown the box and Startup the box. IIRC it doesn't activate until that happens. Edit: By which I mean literally use the Stop VPS button then the Start VPS button.
-
Yeah, is my bad that my statement was equally correct for how both of us perceived the problem. You has it worked out now?
-
I kinda did say that. ;-)
-
You don't do anything - they just work. For ex, port 15013 is assigned to me. I put my nebula instance on port 15013 and it works. Honest, that's all I did.

Debian 10 iirc
-
It's not enabled on any of my machines and my ports work fine.
-
Why didn't you just put your web server on one of your ports?
-
Take a look at: https://my.webhorizon.in/plugin/support_manager/knowledgebase/view/3/nat-ipv4-ports-calculator-ovz-lxc/
-
Unless it's like no NAT I've ever had you don't pick your ports - they're assigned to you. Check the email you got when you bought the VPS. It'll say something like "take the last octet of your IP address and it's the next twenty ports". Nothing you do inside the VPS will make any difference.
